Simbu has debut directed the movie Vallavan. There are three gorgeous heroines in the movie Nayantara, Reema Sen and Sandya. The movie does not look like the first movie that Simbu is directing as the characterization of the roles and also the out come of his emotions in the movie is so real and apt for the movie. Simbu has also handled the story and screenplay of the movie. The songs of the movie composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja has already become very popular among the youth and the movie is also sure to get lots of youth audiences. The movie is a triangular love story with twists and turns in the screenplay very interesting and Simbu has handled the character with lot of care and attention. Vallavan is the character name of Simbu in the movie and the movie starts with Simbu being introduced as a college student. Without the knowledge that he is a student in the college, Nayantara, a professor in the college falls in love with Simbu and she stops the wedding that she plans between them. Then the story moves to the past of Vallavan when Reema Sen, Vallavan’s classmate is in love with him. When Vallavan discovers that she is a arrogant girl by nature, he separates from her but Reema Sen being very cunning by nature tries to separate the relationship that Simbu holds with Nayantara. Sandya plays the role of Simbu’s childhood friend and is very loyal to him in all the ways. Reema Sen has played the anti-heroine role that suits her very perfectly. It is the song and the character of Simbu that stays in the hearts of the audiences even after coming out of the theatre. Simbu and Santhanam have taken care of the comedy part that comes as a mind relaxation when the movie moves very seriously. Vallavan is thus an all rounder with a good story , screenplay, songs and the most important being the directorial touch of Simbu.
