Simbu is currently busy touring in Canada to finalize the locations for his forthcoming film ’Thiru Poda, Thirumathi Podi’. The film is directed by Simbu’s school friend Shiva. They have asked the mayor of Olivia to cooperate with them for the shooting and the mayor has also agreed to cooperate. The director says that this film will not be the Simbu kind of action flick, but this would be a completely different script which would require a lot of effort from Simbu. The film will start shooting from August 15th for a period of 60 days in one schedule. Simbu pairs up Varalakshmi, daughter of Sarath Kumar in the film.
