After the success of Vallavan, Simbu moved to USA to take rest there. Now, he has signed three movies for the year 2007. One movie is under GV Films Production which would be directed by director of Thimiru, Tharun Gopi. Simbu has also signed to work in a movie for SG Films which has produced Arindhum Ariyamalum and Pattiyal. The speciality about the movie is that the movie will be directed by the Silambarasan's associate Nandhu. Simbu will also feature for the Shereen Movie Makers and the director for the movie is yet to be decided. After seeing Ajith who is going to act in Rajinikanth’s Billa movie, Simbu is also in the idea of acting in the remakes of Rajini movies
