The title track of Kaalai has created hot waves and news around the ground. A song for the movie Kaalai is written by Simbu. It is a dual track song, which features the hero and the heroine separately. G.V.Prakash was in need of a new female voice for the song. So, Simbu suggested Mamtha Mohandas who had already sung few Telugu songs and who has also won a Film Fare award. This is the first time she is singing a Tamil number. Kaalai has Simbu and Vedhika and the duet is to be shot in Venice and Rome next month. The movie has been planned for its release this Diwali.
